Jessica Alves

Jessica Alves is a Senior Consultant at CRU International, a global research and analysis firm for the mining and metals industries. She has been with CRU since June 2023, initially as a Consultant and later promoted to Senior Consultant in April 2025.

Her experience spans across key commodities required for energy transition, such as a polysilicon, copper, lithium and nickel. Jessica has delivered projects on several due diligence transactions as well as provided advice to local and federal governments.

Her background in materials science encompasses a PhD from QUT followed by postdoctoral research experience at UNSW. She has co-authored many scientific publications and a chapter in the book Comprehensive Renewable Energy, 2022 – Elsevier.
